Day 4 — The Crest of WONDER

Day 4 — The Crest of WONDER

See with fresh eyes.

There is magic all around us, but how often do we actually pause long enough to notice it?

We become so familiar with the things around us that we sometimes stop really seeing them—the morning light streaming through a window, the patterns on a leaf, the texture of an old wall, the colours in the sky, or even the simple beauty of a line drawn on paper.

Today's word, *Wonder*, invites us to slow down and look again.

As we continue creating our Enchanted Crest, we begin with something familiar—a string, a pen, and a few simple tangles. Yet when we approach them with fresh eyes, something new can emerge.

A curve becomes a beautiful detail. A repeated pattern creates rhythm. A little colour changes the entire feeling of the piece. The ordinary suddenly feels a little more magical.

Perhaps wonder isn't always about discovering something completely new. Sometimes, it is about seeing something we've seen many times before—but seeing it differently.

Our creative practice gives us a beautiful opportunity to do just that. To pause. To notice. To appreciate. To be curious about the small details we might otherwise overlook.

Today's intention:
I look at the ordinary with new eyes.

As you create today's crest, allow yourself to slow down. Look closely at your lines, your patterns, and the little details appearing on your tile. Let yourself be surprised by what you discover.
