Let things be.
How often do we spend our energy trying to make sense of everything around us? We look for answers, try to fix what feels uncomfortable, and worry about things that may not be within our control. Sometimes, in our effort to make everything right, we forget that it’s okay to simply let things be.
Today’s Enchanted Crest is a gentle reminder that peace doesn’t always come from changing our circumstances. Sometimes, it begins with acceptance.
As I create this crest, I’m reminded that every line doesn’t need to be perfect, and every pattern doesn’t need to follow a plan. I can let the artwork unfold, embrace the unexpected, and trust that each little mark has its place. There is freedom in allowing things to be just as they are.
Life, too, has its unfinished stories, unanswered questions, and moments that don’t make sense right away. We don’t have to figure everything out today. We can take a step back, breathe, and give ourselves permission to pause.
Releasing what we cannot control doesn’t mean we stop caring. It means choosing where to place our energy and making room for a little more ease.
Perhaps today, you can set aside one worry, loosen your grip on one expectation, or simply enjoy a quiet moment without needing to do anything about it.
Let things be. Let yourself be. Sometimes, that is where peace begins.
Today’s intention:
I release what I cannot control.
