Give it time.
In a world where we’re always rushing to the next thing, patience can feel like a difficult practice. We want to see results, reach our goals, and watch our efforts turn into something beautiful. But some things simply cannot be hurried.
Creating art reminds me of this every day.
As I work on my Enchanted Crest, each line and pattern takes its own time to find its place. Some details come together effortlessly, while others ask me to slow down and try again. The artwork gradually unfolds, one little stroke at a time. If I rush the process, I might miss the quiet joy of watching it develop.
And isn’t life much the same? Learning a new skill, nurturing a dream, or moving through a season of change all require time. We may not always see progress in the moment, but that doesn’t mean nothing is happening.
Patience is not about standing still or giving up. It is about allowing ourselves the space to grow without constantly measuring how far we have come. It is trusting that meaningful things often develop in their own way, at their own pace.
So today, as you create or go about your day, remember that you don’t have to rush to arrive. Enjoy where you are, appreciate the small steps, and give yourself permission to take your time.
Today’s intention:
I allow things to develop in their own time.
