Find your rhythm.
Life is a constant dance between opposites. There are days filled with activity and accomplishment, and others when all we need is a little quiet. Moments when we feel ready to embrace new possibilities, and moments when we need to pause, reflect, and simply be.
Today’s Enchanted Crest invites us to explore balance—not as a perfect state we must achieve, but as a rhythm we learn to recognise and honour.
As I sit down with my pen and tile, I notice how balance emerges through the creative process. A bold pattern may need a little breathing space. An intricate detail may call for something simple beside it. Each line, shape, and space plays its part in bringing the composition together.
Our lives are much the same. We cannot always be creating, giving, and moving forward. We also need time to rest, receive, and let things unfold. Sometimes balance means doing a little more; sometimes, it means allowing ourselves to do a little less.
Perhaps the beauty of balance lies in being willing to listen—to ourselves, to our needs, and to the changing seasons of life. We don't have to get everything right every day. We can simply make small adjustments and find our way back to a rhythm that feels right.
As you create today's crest, notice the interplay of patterns and spaces. Let your artwork remind you that both are important.
